ROOTS - 2005 The Ottawa technology community is once again preparing for OCRI's Tech Rocks 'battle of the bands' competition. This unique competition is brought to you by OCRI, together with The Ottawa Citizen, Fuel Industries and Hewson Bridge + Smith. We will be looking for the new "Rock Lords of 2002". With support from Xfm, CHEZ 106, Steve's Music Store, Distortion Studios, Healey Disc, Wall Sound, Hard Rock Café Kanata and Barrymore's Music Hall Tech Rocks will come to life. Proceeds from the event are targeted to support human resource development through projects and programs from kindergarten to the post graduate level and will support the development and expansion of Ottawa's technology talent pool. Tech Rocks encourages the employees of Ottawa's technology sector to kick back, have some fun and strum their stuff! Previous winners of the OCRI Tech Rocks Battle of the Bands:
